Statement of Work or Scope of Work:
Describes all of the work to be done on a project, who is responsible for completing the work and what materials will be used.

REMODEL
Definition: “to change the structure or form of something.” In other words adding a new shower to an existing bathroom that didn't previously have one. Another example would to be to take a previously unfinished space and convert it to an entertaining area with a full bar, home theater, etc.
RENOVATION
If you’re looking to renovate your bathroom, you are repairing or updating it. Renovations refer to RESTORING or REPAIRING an existing structure, REPLACING the old with the new. An example is fixing up a creaky floor, or a small scale update to a kitchen.
SUB FLOOR
The bottom-most layer of a floor, supported by joists, over which finished flooring material is laid.

ROUGH-IN
Rough In means to bring in the various lines (Plumbing pipes, duct work, electrical conduit) to the space, but not make the final connections. For plumbing, this would be the pipes in the walls and floors that lead to the sinks, bath, toilets, etc, but not actually hooking up those fixtures.
